I'm wondering if anyone has seen this problem: we just upgraded our
mail system to sendmail switch. This is running on Solaris 8.
Majority of our clients are Mac - Eudora - pop.

Since moving to the new system we are seeing a very high rate of
TCP/IP connection errors (20-50% of the time). Initially we thought it
was a network issue, but we hooked a sniffer up and the packets are
getting to the server just fine. It appears that for some reason the
server is rejecting the packets. Nothing shows up in any logs, and the
server is setting there at 99% idle.

I know it's a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this
or has any suggestions. I would be especially interested to hear from
any Solaris people who might have advice about tuning, etc. We've been
going around in circles with sendmail tech support who so far have not
been of any help.

tia.
