Security Consultant - (US-GA-Atlanta)
Salary: $70,000 - $95,000
The company provides Information Security
consulting, training, and managed services solutions
to Fortune 2000 clients with specialization in
healthcare, financial, legal, and manufacturing
concerns. Their unique product offerings include the
Shadow CISO Service, which allows companies to
outsource the Chief Information Security Officer
responsibilities at a substantial savings. They
specialize in design and management of Secure
Network Infrastructures and policies; firewalls and
VPN's; Intrusion detection and Security audits;
Content and Virus Control; PKI and Digital
Certificates; and Strong Authentication. They guide
companies with network and e-business applications
allowing them to mitigate risk and maximize
productivity through a variety of vendor neutral
solutions customized for each enterprise
Job Description:
The Security Consultant will be the core of the
Professional Services department. They will have the
largest hands-on interaction with both the customer
and technology. Their primary area of responsibility is
to implement the technical solutions designed by the
client. Security Consultants are expected to run small
to medium size projects alone and will work with one
or more Senior Security Consultants, Principle
Security Consultants, or Managing Consultants on
larger projects. Since a part of the deliverables of
every project is documentation, effective writing skills
are a necessity.
Security Consultants will report directly to a Managing
Consultants. They will be expected to work to
increase their technical knowledge and certifications
(CISSP, CCSA, CCSE, etc) as well as Customer
Service skills, Project Management skills, and
communication skills. As these skills improve, the
Security Consultant will be eligible to move into a
Senior Security Consultant role.
Job Responsibilities:
· Implement technical and non-technical security
solutions on small to medium scale security projects.
· Work as a part of a team to design technical
security solutions.
· Provide pre-sales support to the sales staff.
· Work as a part of the implementation team for large-
scale security solutions.
· Document and track time spent with status reports
and timesheets.
· Maintain 70% billable utilization.
· Constantly improve technical and customer service
skills.
Training/Skills:
· Excellent oral and written communications skills.
· Excellent time management and organizational
skills.
· Minimum of 1 year related information security
experience, with preference given to consulting
background.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
· Certifications a bonus (CISSP, CCSA, etc).

Senior Security Consultant - (US-GA-Atlanta)
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
Job Description:
The Senior Security Consultant is a key position in
the Professional Services department. Their primary
area of responsibility is to design, implement and/or
manage the implementation of medium to large-scale
technical and non-technical security solutions. Senior
Security Consultants are expected to have the ability
to implement small-scale security solutions alone
and perform technical and project management
duties on medium to large-scale security solutions.
Senior Security Consultants will report directly to a
Managing Consultant. They will be expected to work
to increase their technical knowledge and
certifications (CISSP, CCSA, CCSE, etc),
communications skills, project management skills, as
well as growing their knowledge of the business and
the industry. As these skills improve, the Senior
Security will be eligible to move into one of two roles
based on their desired career path (Principle Security
Consultant or Managing Consultant). The choice of
career path is based upon whether a technical role or
a management role is desired.
Job Responsibilities:
· Design and develop enterprise-wide technical and
non-technical security solutions.
· Serve as project manager on enterprise-wise
security projects.
· Provide pre-sales support to the sales staff.
· Develop, update, document, and implement
methodologies and procedures to grow the
consulting practice.
· Provide mentoring to Security Consultants.
· Document and track time spent with status reports
and timesheets.
· Maintain 55% billable utilization.
Training/Skills:
· Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
· Excellent time management and organizational
skills.
· Minimum of 3 years related information security
experience, with preference given to consulting
background.
· Excellent team focus.
· Excellent customer satisfaction skills.
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
· CISSP designation preferred.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
Job Description:
The Principle Security Consultant is the highest
technical role in the Professional Services
Department. The Principle Security Consultant's area
of responsibilities includes research and
development, product evaluation, methodology
creation and implementation, training and tutoring,
and design. They will also serve as the "last line" of
defense on technical issues.
Principle Security Consultants are expecting to be at
the absolute top of technical knowledge. Along with
this a solid engineering methodology and mindset is
needed.
Job Responsibilities:
· Research new security solutions.
· Evaluate and document new products.
· Develop and implement technical methodologies for
the consulting practice.
· Train and tutor Security Consultants and Senior
Security Consultants.
· Design and develop enterprise-wide technical
security solutions.
· Provide pre-sales support to the sales staff.
· Document and track time spent with status reports
and timesheets.
Training/Skills:
· Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
· Solid Engineering methodology and mindset.
· 5+ years in Information Security.
· CISSP.
· Master's Degree in related field (CS, EE, IS, etc.).
