Title: Product Line Manager-Private Wire and SmartCards
Our Job Reference: 610-918
Location: Santa Clara
*	You will be the overall champion of the PrivateWire product line
with a focus on the development of marketing requirements for your specific
product(s) and product line(s).
*	You will lead the business planning, product launches, roadmaps,
product positioning, pricing strategies, market research, competitive
analysis, and identification of customer needs.
*	This includes guiding products through all phases of the release
process (cradle to grave). In addition, you will forecast revenues and
analyze profitability of the product line while providing general product
management, management support and technical support to various departments
and customers.
*	You will also be responsible for special projects such as research,
product updates, contributions to white papers etc. Travel to subsidiaries,
customer sites, tradeshows, standard committees etc. will be required.
*	 5+ years' OEM and sales solutions experience in the networking
and/or computer systems market with a BSEE/CS/CE or equivalent is required.
*	Experience in WAN, LAN and/or Internet technologies is desired. A
strong background in networking and software is required. Must have
knowledge of TCP/IP, Java, and C++.
*	In addition, must have a proven track record in defining and
releasing products built for indirect channels (such as VARs) and driving
products through all levels of the release cycle. Availability to travel is
essential.
*	Must have excellent and professional communication and presentation
skills and strong attention to details with the ability to see the broader
picture. International business experience or experience with foreign
subsidiaries or partners is a plus.
*	Must be able to manage cross-functional teams.
