Hi:

We have a need for the following:

Director of Security Engineering (Cupertino, CA)

                     Overall Job Responsibilities:
                     Will provide technical leadership with overall
responsibility for the security and
                     architecture of Wave - platform products.

                     Details of Specific Responsiblities:
                     1. Develop the security model for the products.
                     2. Specify the security features of the chips.
                     3. Develop the architecture of the chip's OS and software.
                     4. Develop the new features of the client/server system and
 embedded security
                     functionality.
                     5. Develop the architecture of the embedded environment
security mechanism and
                     run-time environment.
                     6. Develop new and innovative ways to perform complex
protocols in limited memory.
                     7. Develop new product ideas and will translate them into
marketable products.
                     8. Represent Wave in standards development in both public
and industry standards.
                     9. Apply strong programming skills in C/C++, Java to
implement cryptographic
                     security mechanisms into embedded devices.

                     Background and Expertise Required To Accomplish The Job:

                          MS/PhD in Computer Science or EE with emphasis on
Cryptography.
                          In-depth understanding of security issues related to
cryptography, secure
                          protocols, security models, embedded systems, hardware
 security, ( e.g.,
                          SET, X.509, RSA, DES, PKCS, PGP, SSL, S/MIME)
                          Five (5) years minimum experience in developing the
architecture of numerous
                          software systems, which have been shipped as products.

                          Experience contributing to various standards bodies,
including ANSI X9, IETF.
                          Skilled software engineer with strong programming
skills in (C/C++, Java) in
                          UNIX, Linux, BSD, Windows NT environments.
                          Two (2) years minimum experience in managing software
engineers.

                     Personal Profile: (Subjective, personal attributes or
qualities necessary to
                     accomplish the job.)

                          Ability to learn quickly.
                          Sharp problem solving skills.
                          Proactive and team oriented, and team builder.
                          Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, and to
handle multiple priorities.
                          Must have strong communication skills, verbal and
written.
                          Must be well organized, deadline and detail oriented.
                          Must have a strong work ethic and initiative.
                          Ability to interact successfully with personnel at all
 levels of the organization.
