Job Description:
This position requires a passion for computer security and 
the ability to effectively research and document at a highly 
technical level.  Responsibilities include the 
identification, documentation, and testing of system and 
application defects and vulnerabilities in a lab 
environment.  As a member of the Research and Development 
team, you will be required to rapidly reconfigure various 
research systems and networks for testing computer security 
vulnerabilities and countermeasures.  A minimum of 1-3 years 
of intensive experience with a variety of computer and 
operating systems is required.  A degree in Electrical 
Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information 
Systems and the ability to program in a variety of languages 
(including Assembly and C/C++) are preferred.  A solid 
understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, Netbios, 
IPX) and Web-based security technologies are also desired. 

Required Skills:
Ability to work within a team environment and independently. 
Research position requires someone whom is very highly self 
motivated and can perform extensive research on highly 
technical issues.  Security experience with the following is 
required: Windows NT and/or Unix, transport protocols 
(TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NetBEUI, DLC), Ethernet, WAN switching 
technologies, firewalls, intrusion detection, PKI, routers, 
switches, hubs, etc.

Desired Experience:
Excellent oral, written, presentation, managerial  and 
interpersonal skills.  Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, 
BGP).
