Manager of Information Security 

Our client is the world leader in networking solutions. Located in 
the heart of Silicon Valley, the company has over $8 billion in 
annual revenue and 12,000 employees. The company provides a wide 
range of networking solutions to companies, universities, utilities 
and government agencies worldwide. The company is a major contributor 

of technology to support the global internet, owning over 80% market 
share in its product segment. 

Reporting into the Director of Enterprise Networking, you will be 
responsible for initially managing a staff of technical professionals 

chartered with strategy and implementation of information security on 

an enterprise level. This will include project management of 
technology solutions as well as the ongoing development and support 
of a scaleable corporate security policy. Areas of support will 
include corporate LANs, WANs, internet, intranet and applications 
including e-commerce. Activity will include performance of internal 
and external audits on a wide range of security issues. Additionally 
there will be extensive interaction with customers and partners 
related to information security matters. 

We require an experienced functional and project manager with a 
minimum of five years of information security management experience 
in a high growth, high visibility environment. Experience in a PC, 
Sun, Unix and NT environment is a plus. Excellent documentation and 
presentation skills a must. BS in CS or equivalent required.
