Position:       Security Engineer
Location:       Roseland, New Jersey, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

The Technologies Consultant - Security, provides leadership to the rest of ADP in \
implementing the Security Program laid out by the VP of Internet Security. This \
includes the implementation of security designs and security product engineering for \
ADP wide solutions. Due to the nature of security emergencies, this position requires \
being on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   


 



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Qualifications Required :       Bachelor''s degree or advanced degree or equivalent \
in education and experience. At least 8-10 years of total IT experience. 

Required Skills: Strong experience with data leakage products such as Vontu, \
Vericept, Port Authority or equivalent. Large scale (1000+) Host based IPS \
deployment. Enterprise URL filtering experience. Compliance monitoring and \
remediation. Extensive network troubleshooting. Advance knowledge in Linux, Solaris \
and Windows operating systems. 

Additional skills: Experience with firewalls, VPN, switches, and understanding of \
encryption. In depth experience of Windows XP\Vista, Windows 2k\2003. Knowledge of \
advance security products and services. System OS hardening experience. Forensics and \
incident investigation. 

Generic Skills: Extremely hands-on, highly motivated self starter with excellent \
written and oral communication skills. Must be well organized and needs to work well \
with others. In addition, this person should be able to participate on a project team \
as the architect, engineer and technical writer of the security portion of the \
solution. They should be able to work with the team lead and senior persons to help \
them understand and implement the Security Program. The candidate should be able to \
demonstrate technical excellence in several fields of security and also in at least a \
few other technology areas. Basic security principles should be second nature. The \
candidate must be able to own a process or service and deliver a quality product in a \
timely manner. 

Plus Skills: 
Project management experiences, Blue Coat proxy, MCSE, CISSP.
