JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:       Software Engineer
Location:       St. Paul, Minnesota, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2008-04-03

The Software Engineer is responsible for the hands on coding and development of \
security software which will include design, implementation, and defect resolution of \
new and existing product code. This is an excellent opportunity to work with \
cutting-edge technology and information security on the most comprehensive security \
gateway appliance in the world.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree.
TCP/IP Networking familiarity and some database knowledge is a must.
Experience with C, C++, Python and/or Perl programming languages required.
Excellent communication, team-work and problem solving skills are required.
Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with FreeBSD, Linux, coding on UNIX.
Exposure to routing and/or firewall development and interest in security.
Experience with network configuration and administration.
