Position:       Disaster Recovery Coordinator
Location:       Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2005-09-26

Contingency Planner/Disaster Recovery Engineer (Mid—Senior Level)
· US Citizen (REQUIRED)
· SECRET Clearance (REQUIRED)

Develop Contingency Plans (CP), Continuity of Operations (COOP), Business Impact \
Assessments (BIA), and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) for government organizations and \
IT systems and processes. Assess and evaluate organizations’ mission and \
resource requirements, IT architectures, identify recovery options, and develop \
detailed recovery procedures for mainframe, mid-tier, and Web-based systems. Assist \
in determining requirements for alternate processing and back-up sites for data \
centers, Information Technology Centers (ITC) and headquarters operations. Develop \
and support COOP and DRP training, exercise, and testing programs.



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
3-5 Years experience developing, implementing, and testing COOP, CP, and DRP. 

Excellent understanding of mainframe, mid-tier, and Web-based systems running in \
various systems environments

Familiar with NIST SP 800-34, NIST SP 800-30, NIST SP 800-53, Federal Standards (PDD \
67, FPC 65, and FPC 67)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Ability to interact with operations, support and customer groups 

Ability to multi-task and provide technical leadership

Security and Project Certifications a PLUS! E.g. CBCP, CISSP, PMP, CISA, IAM, Etc.
