Position:	Sr. Product Manager
Location:	Redmond, Washington, US
Type:		Permanent F/T

Spyware and other unwanted software is a major issue for our customers.  Across all \
segments, customers worldwide face slow PC performance, annoying pop-up ads, unwanted \
changes to Internet settings, and unauthorized use of their private information due \
to spyware.

Do you have what it takes to help Microsoft bring an industry-leading AntiSpyware \
solution to customers?  With millions of individual users already running the Windows \
AntiSpyware beta, customers have demonstrated their interest in what we can offer.  \
Now, customers across all segments are counting on us to deliver a world-class \
solution for them.

As a Technical Product Manager for AntiSpyware, you will be responsible for \
developing and maintaining competitive intelligence for input to product planning, \
creating and presenting product demos and presentations that showcase the product \
benefits to customers and other external audiences, ensuring technical product \
guidance is developed and delivered to the field and customers, and leading \
management of product reviews.

Responsibilities include: 
·	Development of overall competitive intelligence
·	Prioritizing solution requirements based on assessment customer input and \
competitive offerings ·	Creating world-class demos for use in worldwide venues
·	Developing and presenting technical content for internal and external \
audiences of all levels ·	Managing the cross-group effort to ensure technical \
product guidance is available for the field and customers.  ·	Managing the \
end-to-end product review process

Do you have what it takes? The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and \
communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a \
clear, straightforward manner. They will be able to analyze complex technical and \
business issues and formulate creative solutions.  In addition, they should have the \
ability to successfully lead cross-functional groups from technical and business \
disciplines to develop effective solutions. 




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Strong communications skills, including the ability to present to all levels of \
internal and external groups are essential. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work \
experience in technical product management or marketing is required.  Bachelor's \
degree with technical discipline strongly preferred, with a Master’s degree a \
plus.  Technical product management for a security product, and experience with a \
product launch are also a definite plus.
