ArcSight, Inc. headquartered in Sunnyvale, California is a leading provider of \
enterprise software solutions that enable large organizations to manage security as a \
critical business process while protecting vital information assets and functions. 

We are looking for a Sales Engineer for either Boston or NY.

Position Responsabilities:
• Support Sales from a Technical level
• Support the Region - sales, demos, RFP/RFIs, trade presentations and general sales \
engineering duties

Required Experience:
Pre-sales experience in the security industry - four years minimum.:
• Excellent communication/presentation skills - verbal and written.
• Excellent people skills with experience working in large enterprise accounts as \
part of an account team. • Willingness to travel - roughly 50%, decreasing over time.
• Ability to understand and communicate business and technical requirements to mixed \
audiences from executives to line-level engineers. • CISSP is a big plus.
• Expertise with various security products - Firewalls, NIDS, HIDS, Scanners, etc.
• UNIX/Linux/Microsoft System Administration.
• TCP/IP and General Network Administration.
• Other valuable skills are - Java programming and Database experience.

Desired Experience:
• 4 Years or more of Pre-Sales/Consulting 

Minimum Required Education:
• 4-year Degree plus CISSP
