Latis Networks was founded in June of 2000 by an experienced management team that saw \
the need for affordable, scalable, and high-performance security solutions. The team \
recognized the market was saturated with complex products that were difficult to use \
and expensive to implement. They saw an opportunity to make effective security \
accessible and affordable for enterprises of all sizes.
Our StillSecure suite of software significantly reduces the risk of a catastrophic \
security breach. Designed for medium- to enterprise-size organizations, StillSecure \
products are affordable, easy to use, and deliver best-in-class security technology.
Our customers come from a variety of industries including health care, financial \
services, government, and education sectors. They range from mid-size companies to \
the world's largest enterprises. Their tolerance for risk is low, and many must \
conform to the growing list of regulations and guidelines such as HIPAA, GLBA, and \
Homeland Security. They also share another characteristic: a network breach could be \
disastrous.
We are expanding and are currently seeking an experienced Field Sales Representative \
for our Midwest territory. You will utilize your ‘hunter’ mentality and strong \
communication skills to prospect, qualify, and sell our suite of security products to \
new clients as well as up-sell to and manage current customers. This is a direct \
sales role that has support from an inside sales representative in our headquarters \
office, but we are seeking a candidate that has an entrepreneurial spirit that can \
creatively generate leads as well.
There's never a dull moment in this position: you will be working in all phases of \
the sales cycle with technical level through to C-level staff and in organizations in \
a variety of industries. A typical sale could be $8K to $250K (mostly averaging \
around $12-25K and about 5-6 months to close.) Quarterly quotas are around $300-400K \
- so, you can see how BUSY you will be!
We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated success in exceeding quotas in a direct \
sales role. This must include at least 5 years of technical/software sales and \
closing with C-level decision makers. Since this is a territory role, the ability to \
work out of a home office situation and travel as necessary in the mid-west region is \
also required.
