I have some clients in NYC, primarily Financial Services clients, who are looking for \
folks with software development/software engineering expertise. The focus of the jobs \
is to provide advice and direction to developers to ensure security is built into \
applications from the beginning.

 

It's highly preferable that one comes from the Financial Services and has an \
understanding of the full life cycle of development from requirements reviews right \
through to the testing phase. 

 

Some buzz words include; software quality assurance, UNIX C/C++, entitlements \
management, Java Servlets, cryptographic protocols,secure access to legacy systems. \
Familiarity with the security requirements of regulations like Gramm-Leach, the \
Patriot Act, etc.would be nice to have.

 

Interpersonal skills are key as these roles interface with large software and \
applications development teams across the organizations. The ability to get your \
thoughts across clearly and diplomatically are essential.

These jobs pay $120K-140K + Bonus
