Primary Consulting from February 2001 between ISS and
GuardedNet during the alpha stages of the GuardedNet
product while it was deployed in the Managed Security
Services operations center. Joined fulltime in
February 2002 with responsibilities for the initial
setup of product support for Guardenet's NeuSecure
product, which consisted of installation and
troubleshooting for all customers. Developed a testing
environment for vendor security products to included
installation, analyzing and interfacing with the
NeuSecure product. Corrected and maintained the
Company’s VPN, firewall and local area network.
Assisted GuardedNet’s Services organization with
client penetration testing and security auditing

Managed a team of three engineers and worked closely
with management team, network engineers, and account
managers to enhance security business to ensure that

Beta tested ISS Site protector product for MSS
operations prior to its release to public. Developed a
voice/text messaging system for IT-ISAC customers so
they can be alerted when threat has been encountered.
Assisted MSS Operations with troubleshooting of known
and unknown threats on client networks. Design and
developed security system to monitor threats from
Cisco ADSL routers for ISS KK (Japan), which allowed
ISS to close a 20 million dollar contract

One of 4 engineers to build the MSS operations center
in Atlanta to what it is today. Have worked on a
variety of security projects, including assisting
implementing a protection and surveillance solution
for Australia’s backbone communications network during
the 2000 Summer Olympics. One of four engineers to
build the first web based console event viewer of
realsecure threat data, which later became the
prototype of site protector.

Developed and maintained a vendor product lab to
assist X-force developers in determining possible
known vulnerabilities in the products. Intelligence
gathering from Hacker sources for possible exploits to
be used in Internet security systems product lines.
Maintained ISS Forum as moderator to include email
subscriptions and Content management. Assisted
Emergency Response Services in many forensic
investigations for their clients. Architecture a
mobile lab for use during Y2K, which helped ISS
identify and decode the TFN2K DDOS threat.
