Ben,
 Most clients do not know the benefits of an military intelligence analyst
for this type of work.  Instead they look for a person with marketing
experience.  I have never meet a marketing guy in my last two years in the
civilian world that knew how to profile a company and do the comparative
analysis.  Military intelligence collect information about countries, to
include their leaders, military, political, economist, medicine capability,
infrastructure and several other areas that is feed into a national database
used by the intelligence community and the national command authority.  I
would focus my search within that community:
