I've made a kind of "install" tapes for miscellaneous architectures instead. Each includes
ssh-install script which copies the extracted binaries from temporary directory to
the target directories and does the other steps, like generating a host key. I prefer having 
a tar tape with binaries instead of development tree for the installation.  I could make a compilation 
of these scripts one day.
