I'm trying to upgrade my RedHat 7.3 box to OpenSSH 3.4p1 after doing it
successfully on all my OpenBSD boxes.

I've started by removing the stock OpenSSH rpms. From there, I installed
OpenSSH and added the sshd user + /var/empty. OpenSSH runs, but even
with privsep enabled, it just runs as a normal root process.

The upgrade perfectly for several OpenBSD boxes - is this something
broken on my RedHat system that I need to wait to have fixed or am I
doing something wrong? Or in other words, has anybody got this to work
and what did you do?

Thanks
Matt
