Or, you could do all of the above with one change: use the techniques
discussed in the earlier (Sept 12) thread instead of the "target"
attribute to produce compliant XHTML (the target attribute is not
technically permitted in XHTML, but most browsers should render it just
fine--too many caveats for me). This should not be overly difficult.
