I managed to miss the obvious conclusion that glfwTerminate hangs
because it is not ready for half-completed glfwSwapBuffers.  Wrapping
the latter in SB-SYS:WITHOUT-INTERRUPTS solves the issue.

Now it surprises me that CFFI does not export WITHOUT-INTERRUPTS to aid
portability.
