Hello John.

Here is my goptions statement right before I run proc gmap and I don't get
a border.

goptions        reset=global
                         cback=white
                         ctext=black
                         display
                         dev=gif570
                         ftext=swiss
                         ftitle=swissb
                         gsfmode=replace
                         gunit=pct
                         htitle=4
                         htext=3
                         noborder;
