In the INIT: section I use - control always enter term;
Just prior to datalistc:
call execcmd('setwname "This is the new title!"');

You can use the message section of datalistc for informational messages
as well.  You might want to look at setwdata.  Setwname is a full
screen global command in af and fsp windows.  You could use control
allcmds instead of my control though you need one control statement.
Frame methods require control allcmds.  Call execcmdi can be used in
some cases.
