I set up a database using 7.5.0.8 with a raw device for the data volume 
and two log volumes (primary and mirrored). The database comes up OK, 
but without LOG_MIRRORED set. If I enable LOG_MIRRORED, the second MLOG 
volume is seen correctly, but when I restart the database it fails:

2004-04-26 15:48:10 67873 ERR 11000 page0io_ Illegal file format
2004-04-26 15:48:10 67873 ERR 11000 page0io_ blocksize wanted: 8192, 
blocksize found: 0
2004-04-26 15:48:10 67877 ERR 11000 vattach  dev0_vattach returned FALSE
2004-04-26 15:48:10 67877 ERR    14 IOMan    Attach error on MLog volume 
1: Could not open volume
2004-04-26 15:48:10 67877 ERR     8 Admin    ERROR 'disk_not_accessibl' 
CAUSED EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN

I've changed ownership of all raw devices and their links to sdb.sdba.
