Yes. Currently there is no share mode support, simply because
the DEC C runtime library does not support locking (technical:
fcntl() does not support the locking functions).

Unfortunately there is no workaround. I hope (and someone from
Digital told me so some months ago) that DEC C RTL will eventually
support a full fcntl().
The only other solution would be that someone contributes his own
fcntl() implementation, but that's not an easy task.
