I have a question regarding the way samba 2.2x handles the "interfaces ="
line of smb.conf. Say I have this line:

	"interfaces = eth0 eth1 eth1:0 ppp*"

Suppose when I start samba, ppp0 and ppp1 exist. According to the docs,
they'll both be used. But what happens if later, ppp2 and 3 come up? Will
they be used? In addition, what happens if ppp0 goes DOWN, and then comes
back up with a different IP address and subnet?

Please help :)

thanks,

Tim Carr
