Yes, looks good, but I mean to try to disable flow control by e.g.

   port_.setFlowControlMode(SerialPort.FLOWCONTROL_NONE)

because with flow control it is correct if write blocks
when the receiver isn't ready or the cable isn't wired
correctly or the receiver simply does not support hardware
flow control.
