Hi,
About a week before opening the Tk issue here I thought
"Ok, if ActiveState packages Tk in their Ruby 90% of my (future) problems
with the end users are gone".
I never used ActiveState Ruby, I checked the gem list they include
and I have not found Tk. So, I sent them an email asking if it was
their intention to include it in the future. I never got a replay.
[ Here is the gem list: http://docs.activestate.com/activeruby/beta/pkg/ ]
I think, it would be a good thing if you also send them an email
about that. So, they will probably put attention to our case.
And we will have a Ruby with GUI (at least Tk) the end user will be able
to install
in one shot. (at least in Windows).
bye
Nico
