The following task has a new comment added:

FS#11647 - pressing play after loading a new song sometimes skips the first few \
seconds User who did this - Steve Bavin (pondlife)

Playback has been reworked recently - please could you load a current build, retest \
and post back if this is still a problem or not.  (This means a cutting-edge build, \
                not 3.8.1.)
