The patch works for me too (e280v2), although some kind of slow:

600 kBit/s mpeg2 video with 192 kBit/s mp2 audio => 6.5 - 7 frames/s
600 kBit/s mpeg2 video with 128 kBit/s mp3 audio =>   5 frames/s
