I thought it was the hard drive too, so when I was checking the pins, I
pulled the hard drive out, turned it upside down with the rest of the unit
right-side up, and it wouldn't "pause".  i'd turn the unit upside down with
the hard drive right-side up, and the "pausing" occurs.
