The following is all I have...

I'm interested in how this lines up with RHQ.

(11:53:59 AM) jamezp: I think zanata handles most of the removing of translations, \
just not sure exactly how. (11:54:16 AM) dmlloyd: do they have a way to sync up with \
the properties files? (11:54:58 AM) jamezp: Yeah. There is a maven plugin that pushes \
and pulls. How they are changed is some what of a mystery for me though. (11:56:36 \
AM) dmlloyd: did they develop that custom for our tooling? (11:58:20 AM) jamezp: Not \
totally. It worked originally with just .po files. That's why we always generate an \
.18n.properties by default so they can use those files as their base. (12:03:16 PM) \
qmx is now known as qmx|away (12:05:20 PM) dmlloyd: so they just modified it to work \
with our stuff then (12:06:24 PM) dmlloyd: if they can maintain the translations \
going forward and through branches, then I say let's just keep them in (12:06:45 PM) \
jamezp: Yes. The front end for the translators is a web page from what I gather. My \
assumption is they use some kind of intermediate format and then generate the \
.i18n_COUNTRY.properties files. (12:07:11 PM) jamezp: They do have branches, but they \
just call them versions. (12:07:39 PM) jamezp: It doesn't tell you a lot, but here is \
where the versions are https://translate.jboss.org/project/view/jboss_as (12:08:05 \
PM) dmlloyd: nice (12:08:38 PM) jamezp: Currently I'm only pushing and pulling from \
the 7.1.x version to our 7.1 branch. (12:09:22 PM) jamezp: They prefer a string \
freeze before we start pushing and pulling from master. smcgowan is going to have \
another meeting with them so we can hammer out details at some point. (12:10:48 PM) \
jamezp: You can get a little more detail from a link like this too \
https://translate.jboss.org/project/view/jboss_as/iter/master/files/ja. I assume the \
ending path is the language.
