Hi,
This is an easy one. What you describe is called teeing
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tee_%28command%29). The output is split
into two - one goes to a file, the other to the screen. If you run:
$ relax --help
you will see that there is a tee option ready for you to use :)
