Most of the reiserfs fixes going into the 2.4. kernel are not needed in
2.2.x reiserfs. They have been bugs with the code written to integrate
reiserfs with the infrastructure 2.4.x.

Some of the features, like the patch that completes unlinks and truncates
after a crash would be useful in 2.2.x. But there are no plans to port
them back, the number of users that would benefit is just too small. Plus,
what makes the 2.2.x code so nice is the stability that comes from not
having these kinds of changes integrated into it.

Aside from any critical bugs found in 2.2.x reiserfs, the code is frozen.
