Ok, so once you have a source rpm and a patch that's intended for it, how do
you get the patch applied to your copy of the srpm and from there, how do
you get to an installible binary rpm?

That's the bugzilla bug that contains the patch I need - but I can't figure
out how to apply it.  The maximum rpm book and the rpmbuild manual page seem
to provide relevant options (--rebuild and --recompile), but those options
don't seem to allow you to make changes to the srpm, rather they only let
you recompile it against the current kernel and install it.

If ya can't tell, this is my first time digging into actually building an
rpm.  Any help would be appreciated.
