There's no need for that.

Let me rephrase, my original intent with this email, and which was in
the very first line of it, was to take this 'this sucks/that sucks' kinda
arguments to an advocacy newsgroup and my 'I don't give .01$ worth to Java
was *not* intended to say it sucks. Personally I don't use it, that's why
it has no real value to *me*. Otherwise, I think it's a noble thing of Sun
to use the same marketing tricks MS has been releasing on humanity for a
long time.

I think the whole Unix/Linux community owes a lot to Sun, if you'd look
a little bit closer at the point I tried to make, you'd see that this was
actually a constructive effort, more so than what you're trying to do wth
your rather unbalanced flame.

I do not point fingers at Sun, see above. However, I think the FSSTND
makes *sense* in many things. It's a constructive attempt to create a
standard for a LARGE group of people, a VERY big group of new engineers in
the field of Linux and Unix in general, also for Sun. As a computing
professional who learned his Unix knowledge mostly on a Linux system, and
now mostly working with Solaris, I am one of those. I was not trying to
*tell* Sun how to do things (altho I'd have some tips if I would :) I was
merely trying to suggest a sensible thing to do IMHO. And I'm pretty real,
thank you.

I concur with that one :)
