Summary: Session Directory Support

Initial Comment:
Would like to see support for session directory. We
have mulitple windows 2003 terminal servers, doing
round robin dns. If a connection is broken, we would
like to make sure the users are connected to the right
session on the right server.

I am using the same setup with NLB instead of Round-Robin.
Works great with the Windows RDP Client, does not work
using RDesktop. This addition would make the software more
viable for a large corporate organization and it would
allow us to rid ourselves of Citrix forever!

I was thinking of using rdesktop, but this is also holding me
back. We are using LVS so we need session directory
support in order to allow disconnected sessions.

Maybe someone else knows another way?

Has anyone looked into implementing this? I would be willing
to test and report back to help development of Session
Directory support.

I'm using rdesktop 1.3.1 with PXES 0.8-9 to connect to a
small W2k3 Terminal Server farm with Microsoft Network Load
Balancing and Session Directory.

This would be very handy, and is pretty much essential if you
want to use rdesktop with a TS farm with any sort of load
balancing in place.

Would be very good to see this feature implemented.
