I sent an email to the Axiom mailing list, dev@ws.apache.org, asking for a
release.

I also created the following Axiom issue, not a blocker for the release. I
don't have committer rights to the project.

AXIOM-506 Upgrade to org.glassfish 3.0.1 and jakarta packages
