Hi Prakash,

It is a little out-of-date in that it does not cover the relatively new IJKTSOxx \
LOGON option PASSWORDPREPROMPT, which if set to YES will result in UADS begin \
ignored.

UADS is optional. We've encountered shops who have commented out the SYSUADS DD \
statement in their Master JCL and run fine without it. I suggest you check with Tech \
Support to see whether it is still active.

UADS is only used if a user attempts to log onto TSO and (a) the user is not defined \
to RACF or (b) the user is defined to RACF but does not have a TSO segment. I would \
expect most or all of your TSO users to have TSO segments.

All this calls into question whether you still need to update UADS.

Good Day

We have user that needs to run a command under the command line The command is

ACCOUNT - when he submits this command it is giving him an error

COMMAND NOT AUHTHORISED FOR USER
YOUR INSTALLTION MUST AUTHORISE USE OF THIS COMMND

All the info relating to this command is saying that this command is used to create a \
TSO user?

Any assistance will be appreciated
