Lynn

D A,*MASTER* lists all the RACF Data Spaces. They are all anchored to the Master \
Address Space. It will also show any other Data Space anchored off of the Master \
Address Space.

The list of RACF Data Spaces includes both types of RACLISTed Data Spaces
- RACF Data Spaces built due to SETROPTS RACLIST
- RACF Data Spaces built due to a RACLIST with GLOBAL=YES

The first type is created when RACF initializes, the second type is only created when \
an application like CICS, DB2, or MQ issues the RACLIST GLOBAL=YES. Other than how \
this is triggered (SETROPTS or application), there is absolutely no difference \
between these Data Spaces.

Subject: RACF Data Spaces and DB2

Hello ListServe!
There was an archive posting from Walt Farrell (IBM RACF) that mentioned that to see \
all the data spaces under RACF one had to 'D A,*MASTER*' to get the list. Are DB2 \
RACF data spaces also created under that same list or somewhere else (DB2DBM1 or \
DB2MSTR etc..?) I am unable to see them under the DB2DBM1 address space. Are they \
also in the *MASTER* list data spaces?

Thank You for this forum!
