Does anyone remember which version first had exits?
I remember that the doc was not good. I had to use slips on a nop exit to determine \
what was being point to. This was how we implemented protect-all and generics at that \
time.

Subject: 24 September: This Day in History
Today is a very significant day in the history of RACF: Forty years ago today (24 \
September, 1976) RACF Version 1 Release 1 became generally available!
http://www.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/features/racf/racfhist.html has a list of RACF \
releases and functions. The page still says "Thirty-nine Years of RACF". We'll get \
that fixed shortly. :-)
Happy Birthday RACF! - Mark
