Walt,
My copy of the exec has a blank line on line 1158. That is probably the problem. I do \
not know this programming language so that is just my assumption. Just to be sure, I \
will download a new copy of the exec. Please let me know the link to the download \
page.  001155         drec  = p1'1234567890 'p2'1234567890 'p3||,
001156           '1234567890123456789 'p4' 678901234567 'p5'123 'p6||,/* @M3C*/
001157           '1234 1234 1234567890 123 1234567890 1234'||,        /* @M7C*/
001158
001159           p8                               /* rebuild data        @M5C*/

Concerning the DUMMYGMAXU problem, I increased the number on this line from 1000 to \
5000 in the following statement and it seemed to get past the problem. 008269 \
dummygmaxu = 5000 /* max number of users per dummygroup @LMA*/ The JCL that \
I was given had OPTIONS commented out... //*OPTIONS DD DUMMY I'll change the OPTIONS \
DD TO include SET DUMMYGMAXU if I have problems after I download and run the new \
exec.

Your copy of the DBSYNC exec is corrupt.

Line 1158 of the copy on the website reads:

    p8                               /* rebuild data        @M5C*/

I have no idea what else might be wrong with the copy you have, so I suggest you \
obtain a new copy of the exec.

I'm a little curious how you fixed that DUMMYGMAXU problem. You should have used a \
SET DUMMYGMAXU command in the OPTIONS input DD statement, but the messages show you \
have no OPTIONS DD allocated. If you did it by editing the REXX exec perhaps your \
editing caused the problem somehow.
