John, i dont think this will work. I am pretty sure there is a backstop ** profile in \
the STARTED class of the RACF database (of the OS/390). So, even if I manage to IPL \
with a new ICHRIN03, it will not come into play.

Ah! but perhaps he can create a new ICHRIN03 for the OS/390 system using the z/OS \
1.11 system. Or, at the very least, use AMASPZAP to update the ICHRIN03 on the OS/390 \
system's LINKLIB from the z/OS 1.11 system.
