The you have only 32-bit R (Tiger build). If you want  64-bit you have to download \
the Leopard build (R-2.10.1.pkg form CRAN)(.

There are two (Tiger and Leopard) and you use the wrong one (for what you want) - \
it's worth actually reading that page before you download it.
