now has a standalone version of ggobi for OS X. You need the gtk+ and
gdk and libxml2 dylibs from fink. And after installing this, you need
to manually edit the paths in ggobi/bin/ggobi-config to what is
appropriate for you.

I'll post a version with R and Python enabled at some later stage.
