Solved it!! Needed to set my LD_LIBRARY_PATH to see the alternative libraries

export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:/afs/ipp-garching.mpg.de/home/k/kenu/usr/lib:/afs/ipp-garching.mpg.de/home/k/kenu/usr/lib64


Working now :)
