Dear useRs,

I am happy to announce the publication on CRAN of
the qgam package:
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/qgam/index.html

qgam is an extension of mgcv, and provides methods for
fitting quantile additive models including parametric, random and
smooth effects.

For basic examples see the vignette:
