I don't think its the best possible source. It may well be the best
existing source.

On bug reporting, I think Simon Tatham's essay at
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html
is a definite improvement over the GNU emacs-based text in the FAQ. It
makes basically the same points, but explains *why*.
