There are a host of ways to do this.  Probably the biggest question is,
are you using GNOME?  If so, just start her up in GNOME, use the Gnome
Control Center to add qvwm to the list of available window managers (in
her account), and then select it.

If you are not using GNOME, the way to go about it is probably to put the
following line at the end of her .xinitrc file:

/usr/local/bin/qvwm > .xsession-errors

This is assuming that QVWM has been installed in /usr/local (which is the
default).

Word of warning: IIRC, Red Hat doesn't put /usr/local/bin in your $PATH
variable, so you may have to use the full pathname for the GNOME thing I
mentioned earlier.
