I used

https://privsec.dev/posts/qubes/using-mullvad-vpn-on-qubes-os/

to setup a dedicated VPN VM with the Mullvad GUI. Has some
idiosyncrasies, but works really not bad. Been using it for a couple
weeks already as a daily drive.
