If you prefer to use USB as a source for installation, then you just need
to copy the ISO onto the USB device, e.g. using dd:
dd if=Qubes-R2-rc2-x86_64-DVD.iso of=/dev/sdX

Could be added some advice in the wiki to check the md5 sum to avoid
writting errors in the CD/DVD/USB?

The dd is very easy if you want to use a USB pendrive as install media, if
done properly.
