No idea where this is coming from, sorry.
Is it in quanta only - or do you see the same in kate?
I got it changed in quanta. There seems to be a bug in updating the background colors. Closing and relaunching Quanta applied my color changes. I'll worry about the bug later. For now, my eyes are safe. :-)
